Spoiled fans whining because they think that anything a creator makes that isn't better than their best work requires negative reviews, Is Cowbow Bebop probably better? Yes. Is this still an incredibly animated, show with an awesome soundtrack with a story that is relevant to current issues with interesting characters, Absolutely. People who are giving it negative reviews are literally the same types of people that the plot criticises for obsessive consumer behaviour.
