This was a very special place to celebrate my birthday with my family. It is beautiful, the service was excellent, and the food was tasty…. Except the cake! Sadly, it was disappointing. I had the Neapolitan cake (which was probably a mistake anyway, given others that had more detail and ingredients). The chocolate layer was moist, but the other two were dry and lacking flavor. Plus, the flower on top was silk, so not edible, which was disappointing. The buttercream was also lacking freshness and flavor. At $22/slice, I had high expectations that the cake definitely did not live up to. My dad had the millionaire sundae, and the brownie was hard and also not super fresh. I will say that dessert was disappointing for our table. But, overall, our experience was still memorable. It’s a really beautiful restaurant and a neat experience, especially for kids.
