This movie explores the world of true crime in a much more thoughtful way than most mainstream media.
The visuals, score, acting and tone are all top notch. I was floored by the end of it.
Yes, it’s a punishing viewing experience, but at least it feels like the film is challenging the viewer with a clear purpose in mind. (As opposed to directors who use graphic themes and imagery to simply shock the audience.)
