Sounds like it could be the B-Movie to end all B-movies with a title like "The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot". I sat down to watch schlock and got a brilliant character driven film with pathos and gravitas. A meditation on loss and what could have been's when a life is spent on duty over personal desires, and the emotional weight carried by the person who lived it. Sam Elliot is brilliant in his role. The B-Movie angle was like a gimmick. Sure. There's some in there. But an insignificant portion of the run time. I don't regret a second of it.
