I don’t want to give this a 3 stars because I really enjoyed the whole series. I’m late to this. Only hearing about it while trying to find something to watch on Netflix. So after watching all 3 movies, I decided to read the books because I didn’t want to wait and see how it ends. I lack patience. So started them on Friday finished all of them by Tuesday. I love to read and it had been a while since I’ve found a good series. When I saw there was a book in Hardin’s point of view! I was sooooooooooooooooooo excited! I could not wait to find out the very moment he fell in love with her. You can not begin to fathom my confusion from turning from page 251 to 252 and 253…. (Ebook) As I’m reading I was so confused. I literally turned the pages back because I thought I missed something. I promise you I went back and forth between the few pages like 10 times. So confused. I said there’s no way she wouldn’t let us experience the very first time he knew he was in love. There’s no way she wouldn’t let us experience the very first time he realized he didn’t have nightmares with Tessa beside him. No actual way. But that’s exactly what happened. I was so disappointed I didn’t even want to read anymore. But I’m glad I did! I’m still beyond disappointed she’d skip something like that, but I’m glad I got to see more of Hessa grown up. But the 3 stars are just from the sheer disappointment of my own expectations I guess. Would still recommend the book to people and I already know it’s going to be one of those series I re read a few times.
