Interesting novel about Nazi soldiers who murdeded countless Jews. Men women and children in Poland during WW 2 . The main character Yana lived with an older lady in the forest and learned survival skills. She was taken from her parents as a small child to be saved from Nazi soldiers She also was taught to speak a number of languages she is not Jewish but is sympathetic to their plight. I found the novel fascinating
