Mike is a movie that needs to be watched. It takes you on a journey that many people in society are not really comfortable talking about. Gender reassignment (Sarah) and Mental health challenges (Antony) are not trivial matters and the movie makers have done it in a realistic yet sensitive way. There is no doubt that this movie rides on the shoulders of its 2 protagonists who have done a fantastic job - Anaswara Rajan portrays Sarah in an effortless manner and Ranjith Sajeev (in his debut film!!) portrays an intensity not often seen in Malayalam cinema stars. Some of the fight sequences are jaw dropping - well worth watching on the big screen!
