NLT Ecclesiastes 9:8 Wear fine clothes, with a splash of cologne
NLT is taking to much liberty in it's translations. If God said "white" I believe it signifies the purity just like as our sins will become white as snow. Also oil and cologne are not the same thing and can be taken away from the intended meaning.
