The movie is a dream come true for every boy who fantises about breaking out of his shell and making the big time by taking on the Big Apple where it lives. Nate - Rueby lives for the moment; when an oppunity presents itself he plains takes over and steals teh stage. The question begs; can it happen in real life and the answer is it already has for Rueby. When i watched him do the number 'Broadway', George Benson's timeless classic, I knew this wasn't real, it was teen heaven. I just could not believe the enery that kid has, when he sung those fantastic words, the scene wasn't Broadway, it was somewhere in another reality, a place where only the lucky are allowed to discover. If the lucky audiance only saw Rueby sing George Benson's song, they already had their money's worth and my only regret I wasn't in New York to see the premier. Perhaps in another life. Bravo Rueby, the rest of the cast, especially the girl who made him shine harder than normally possible.
