I binge watched and only after I finished did I realize how awful it all was. There were many scenes of gratuitous kinky sex (Virgins engaging in a menage a trois? Sex with a holographic AI persona whose feelings are hurt when the affair is ended only to repeat the scenario himself with his own AI generated persona?) had no useful purpose. The characters had few enduring character traits, the dialog was atrocious, the aliens lacked any coherent game plan, and etcetera. Many other offerings from Netflix are far better including the Queen's Gambit, Shadow and Bone, Witcher, Stranger Things, and so on.
