A film I watch again and again. I grew up in LA and don't live there anymore so the LA scenery and vibe take me back home. I watch any film with Ben Stiller. And Greta plays her role perfectly. A great ensemble cast.

Meh... I'm 51 minutes in, still waiting for a plot twist or something new to happen. Madison is really good in her character (love her acting in Better Things.). But I'm bored. 6 Oscar noms??! Yeah, I'm in my late 60s and started watching Oscars in late 1960s, so a bummer it's come to this sad state of affairs in film offerings of such low class and boring stories being nominated for Oscars. I'll keep watching it. Hope it gets more compelling. Doubtful.

I don't know what to say other than I was deeply moved. Resonates with that piece of us that's still missing in who we are at our core. Those who touched our lives early on who remain within our heart and mind. Looks like I found something to say.

Too soon to say. But Kidman is weird in every project for many years now. Unrelatable. Out of touch. Unconvincing. Too bad she has effed with her face. But I'm curious to see what happened to Gus so I'll watch.

I read some of the reviews here and am surprised no one mentioned the "period sex," as in menstrual, scene. Really? Entirely unnecessary. I suppose the first big clue for me that Oliver was going to take this family down. Watched the film with a male friend. We're not stodgy people in the least and paused often to say Oh come on. Dripping with gratuitous perversion. However, I'll watch anything with Barry Keoghan. Always compelling. I liked watching him dance naked, but silly ending.

Just so excellent. Oscar worthy performance by Sandra Huller. I forgot she was acting.

Watch it for Cooper's entire performance and him conducting Mahler's Resurrection if for no other reason. He deserves any award nominations given him. I'm not a fan of Carey Mulligan in general so it was difficult for me to embrace her in the role. I didn't feel chemistry of any kind between them. Her performance seemed caricature-ish.

Binged all 6 episodes. James Corden is brilliant.

Why did McConaughey do this film?????? Headscratcher. It's so bad! No redeeming quality. I fast forwarded many times, searching for any part worthwhile, and in the meantime wasted a couple hours of my life. It would've been less a waste of my time to get stoned and drunk and dance and screw around myself instead of watching someone else do it. Mr. M is better than this! Is he in debt over his head and will take any role to pay bills? Mr. M, I'm not giving up on you tho.
