The story content was good, but the delivery was not. I never thought I'd say this about a Scorsese film, but I thought it was a bad movie.
The storytelling was muddled and the pace was uneventful. It was an overly-slow unfolding of terrible deeds being done. It wasn't entertaining, or seeming to go anywhere, or mean anything. There was no character development or mystery unveiling, or...anything.
I think the story should've been lead by Lily Gladstone, told through her character's eyes/experience and not that of Leonardo DiCaprio's.
Bummer.
