So wack. Way too stats based. Perfectly timed takedown stuff results in a takedown still based on character selection. People choose the champ in every division and have huge advantages. In past titles the mismatches could be mitigated by skill. Here the stats outweigh timing and you can dominate a fight and lose by one counter strike. Or worse yet people just taking you down over and over when you have a striker with little takedown defense. Makes for a frustrating experience. They can telegraph it, you can time it perfectly, and still lose to much inferior players based on stats. Also counterstriking given wayyy too much power. You can dominate for three rounds, landing hundreds of strikes while the other player sways back and forth like a moron. If they time one strike perfectly and move their head just right and return fire you are knocked out even if your head health is full. These two factors make the game broken for online play because some idiots love to spam the same moves over and over taking advantage of the broken mechanics.
