I really enjoyed the series. It was very interesting especially because it was real. I don't think she was taken advantage of the full time. I think the first couple of loan transactions she was conned and swindled on. After two loans that were not repaid she knew what was going on. She chose to continue to supposedly loan and give him money if that's true or not. It showed her drinking and gambling as well. I think she swindeled and brainwashed her employees that she didn't pay and the people she borrowed from. Even at the end of the documentary she was asked why she was going to jail for 3.5 months and she said she didn't know why. She never excepted any responsibility for her actions. I hope she received the help she needed mentally and emotionally.
