I’m losing interest and start seeing that the writers did not expect the show to be adapted so the plot is not thought out and mapped out for the season. It seems like they are stalling the progress of the show to buy time to layout the direction the show is going. The characters are every horror movie first kill victims with a few lucky survivors who accidentally escaped the monsters. I could write a better story and keep it interesting, horrifying, suspenseful and mysterious. The characters lack likability and inspiration. No one is desperate to get out of there and driven to rise above the situation and use their brain and courageousness to take smart risk and out strategize the monsters and the environment. My best guess is aliens feeding their pets human beings and setting up an environment for them to self farm. They chose these people because they knew they lack intelligence, strategic thinking, cooperation, deductive reasoning, basic survival instincts and will to live. All they want to do is sulk in their feeling and sabotage anyone who tries to find a solution to the problem at hand; it’s amazing how unmotivated these people are after they see what the monsters do their fellow captors. The writers and producers aren’t experienced at life and lack any understanding of human complexity and desire to live. The horror and the mystery is the only intriguing qualities; which is poorly thought out and lacking. You know they can solve one problem and still keep it interesting. The environment offers enough unpredictability and unexplained occurrences for the show to allow the people in this town to have some orientation and organization, instead of mysteries piled on mysteries. Unnecessary complexity and absurdities will just confuse and leave the audience uninterested in anyone getting out. They need to give hope, show progress and let it build up, then introduce the environmental mysteries and twists. Allow them to have some confidence and become a community with some solid foundations, give them some kind of working theory that allows them to focus the show and then use the trappings of the already introduced phenomenon to break some hearts.
