[My first ever review of a show: Big Mouth] This show is pure gold. It’s a must watch for someone who is a teenager, or someone who constantly hyper focuses on biology or sex. Seriously, I mean it. I am one of those people and will continue to be one of those people forever. A sexually driven gal who’s forever smelling like vanilla cream puffs, baby! Okay, so to give y’all some perspective: I started watching the show first when I was 16, now currently 19 as of writing this review, having finished the last season. It’s truly been a wild ride, and this show even made me realise that I’ve been a bisexual mess of a babe my entire life without knowing it. (Although I don’t fuck my pillows or a rotisserie chicken.) The characters, world building, and even accurate autism representation is in here, which described how my life was going to a T. Give it a try and you’ll see what I mean. It’s really thought out and the cast seem to have enjoyed voicing characters for the show! While Big Mouth has been critiqued and criticised to burning hell for its art style, it still delivers a truly unique look in how it feels to be a teenager going through puberty, but also looks at the adult side of things and how it feels to be a parent who tries their best at raising a child in that stage. Big mouth is a show that’s educational, representative of everything and everyone in its own way, relatable and makes it way easier for teens to find themselves in the toughest part of their life. You’ll be back rewatching this as an adult and think “Damn, I really love this show.” Or “That was me back then!” You won’t even realise how much time passes by the time you’re done watching it. Truly one of the best shows ever made in my opinion. 5/5. Big mouth will forever be a staple of my life.
