Y'know I don't get why everyone is talking smack about the anime. I just finished the 10th episode and was wondering if there would be a couple more, just to find that everyone was talking crap about it before it even aired the second episode. I'll admit I had my reservations about it but after watching to the third and fourth episode I was genuinely hooked. Why it is rated so poorly is beyond me, I found that everything built up to an intriguing story. I won't praise it too much, but I really hope that the negative feedback doesn't ruin a good thing because I really enjoyed the plot twists and how the anime put together philosophical concepts that worked well with the characters. Not to mention the various call backs to lesser explored characters within the Rick and Morty universe. I give it 5 stars because it exceeded my expectations, seeing as I had trouble getting used to the art style among other things. I hope others who were as sceptical as me can take the time to give it a second look, or stick around to the finish line, which is what I perceived to be the largest contribution to the bad ratings.
