An extremely well acted series from the beginning to the final episode in series 6. Series 1 to 5 are very well written and very much in the spirt of the original British version of The House of Cards. All about an ambitious, roughtless, thoroughly corrupt and evil man who will murder or cunningly do anything for the power and position of President of the USA.
Sadly series 6 is very, very badly written but very well acted. The plot should have had all the contents of the passing of Frank in the first episode, then moved straight on. The content then should have had Claire Underwood, running the US and all it’s ups and downs, as it did under Frank in the previous series.
Series six seemed a bit like Dynasty, lots of in fighting and an overblown plot, that it got stuck on. If it had a West Wing script with the very capable evil Claire Underwood it would have been brilliant.
