Hanks delivers again as does the supporting cast and special effects. Imagine the constant horror of a North Sea crossing during WWII. This film does a solid job of documenting the nonstop agony of battle and the chase to safety. Those who think less of this work have never taken up arms and stood face to face with an equally determined enemy.
