one of the most painful 65 hours of my life. i had heard that this was a must-read... the story was pretty cool at times, but the never ending soliloquies were so so painful. if the book were 1/3 of the length, it would've been way more enjoyable and memorable. i don't see how i could ever be able to have a conversation about this book in the future without ptsd flashbacks. i've read only one other book as long and ridiculous as this one, and that book rhymes with 'hook of bormon"

Boring. Hard to get though. Hardly anything besides monotony. One chapter started to get exciting during the panel review of the student, but the main character couldn't be any more dull or passive. And like someone else already said, the intro pretty much blows the plot. And then multiple times the author says "and he never talks to her again" etc. come on!! Give us SOMETHING to hope for! Not a complete waste of time, just a partial waste.
