It's an excellent downgrade, but I think they meant for it to be an upgrade. None of the real issues with the game were addressed and everything they changed that's visible to the player is worse, with the possible exception of smoke. Firebombs look stupid, maps are too bright and shiny, buy wheel is gone, replaced with a much slower grid, bots apparently have had a prefrontal lobotomy and aren't even worth including, audio is discordant and mismatched with the maps. It's like a teen's first effort using the Source 2 engine. How can a company with so much money and experience do something this bad?
