*spoilers* This show has easily become one of my all time favorites. Young royals creates a sense of comfort for me. It shows how the LGBT+ youth can struggle with themselves, and how it can affect others. Wilhelm struggles to keep him and Simon a secret because of his role as prince/king. With all of this pressure, he’s not sure what to do. What he does next shows that no one is perfect and it shows that it’s okay to make mistakes. This show also represents ADHD and other mental disorders. This can be educational, even though the show is meant for entertainment. I also admire how they casted elder teen that actually look like they are in school. Most netflix shows cast 25-30 year old while Young Royals’ Edvin Ryding (Wilhelm) is only 18, Omar Rudberg (Simon) is 22 and Malte Gårdinger (August) is only 20. These young actors have done such a fantastic job on this show. I know that thousands of people, including me, are looking forward and hoping for a new season.
