The documentary was a basic outline and a very surface level summary of what happened. A lot of important details were left out, such as giving more insight on what kind of person Jennifer was. SPOILER: yes, she lied about attending university, but she also lied about her job, and to her ex-boyfriend about being gang-raped in an attempt to get him and his then-girlfriend to break up.
The documentary also SPOILER basically said Jennifer did this all for a boy but didn't really go into their relationship (ex: they had planned to murder her parents, inherit the house and money, and live together).
For a 90-minute runtime, the documentary just felt so hollow.
