As we journey through life, we inevitably encounter myriad changes. In our quest to fit in and avoid being left behind, we may scarcely recognize ourselves. "Inside Out 2" stands as one of the finest sequel films I have ever seen, beautifully illustrating these transformations. The film captures the essence of change in all its forms—different, challenging, frightening, and yet undeniably beautiful. It masterfully conveys that every emotion we experience in our daily lives is valid and significant. And those, our emotions; even though how hard it is, they are ought to be felt because these makes us what we are. In addition, every single one of them are as valid as we are. But it is to be made sure, that emotions perhaps be valid but actions towards aspects are our responsibilities.
As an young adult, I found this movie to be a therapeutic experience. The emphasis on the importance of friendship during the tumultuous teenage years is particularly commendable. The depiction of emotional activities, such as Brainstorm and Career Path, is handled with finesse. As we grow older, we often reserve joy for certain occasions, perhaps stifled by anxiety. I have felt that I might not be a fun person to be around, but Inside Out 2 reassured me that if I seek joy, she will find her way back to me.
This movie is indeed a must-watch. Pixar has, once again, excelled in depicting the myriad perspectives of life itself, never failing to enchant and enlighten. Both comedic and emotional timings have elevated the story, bringing balance and depth. Together, they enriched the audience's experience, making it engaging.
However, I do think perhaps there could be a 3rd movie?!
