A movie that could have been truly great but was too busy getting in its own way . As usual shamalan seems to have no clue how real world events work leading to some of the most clunky and “ I guess it happened that way “ events possible . As a viewer you’re often asked to “ push aside your view of realism in exchange for entertainment “ which works great if I’m watching Alien vs predator , it doesn’t however work great with movies that have everyday events in them . Shamalan went from unpredictable twists, to unrealistic ones.
