House of Dynamite feels less like a film and more like a punishment. Two hours of absolutely nothing happening .
The story goes in circles, replaying the same crisis from different angles as if repetition might somehow create meaning. It doesnโt. The tension is fake, the acting flat, and even Idris Elba looks like heโs serving time rather than starring in a movie.
When the film finally ends, if you can call it that, it just cuts to black mid-scene, like the editor fell asleep on the keyboard. No climax, no closure, just relief that itโs over.
If youโre after suspense, don't watch it. Staring at a clock for two hours, it's about the same experience as this awful movie.
