Very disappointed in winning staged 'mouse in apple' photograph. Thought all photographs were natural and unstaged. I understand it is allowed in the rules but do the judges and voters realise this? I would also like to know where the mice were from and where they were released. Hoping they will be returned to the wild. I will not be voting or buying a calendar until the rules are changed to enable natural unstaged photographs to take precedence or until this staged rule is omitted. I would hope that they will have an explanation on why the so called 'wildlife' staged and not in their natural environment could win above totally natural shots.
