I was drawn to the series, and watched it all. It is beautifully shot and the acting is really good. But, in terms of the story line or even message, it’s disappointing. The main character is touching, finding it so hard to connect and express her inner feelings and thoughts but not for a moment she feels guilty of having sex with a married man, who's wife opens her house to her with such generosity. Of course it happens and that’s part of the story, but there’s no reflection/remorse to that. I was hoping for her to change earlier and in a larger inner manner. It felt as if those 8 chapters could have been 3. I felt there’s a wish to resemble “Normal People”, but it lacked exactly what made it a masterpiece.
