Fubar delivers a solid mix of over-the-top action and dark humor, anchored by strong performances and a refreshingly absurd premise. The show’s gritty tone and inventive set pieces make it a standout spy comedy. However, the character of the father-hating daughter feels like a misfire. Her relentless antagonism, clichéd dialogue, and forced rebelliousness clash with the show’s otherwise sharp writing, often pulling focus from the more compelling dynamics. Without her grating presence, Fubar could’ve been a leaner, more cohesive gem. As is, it’s still worth a watch—but be prepared to cringe through her scenes.
