This show is the definition of 'money cant buy class'. They writers and showrunners have offered up their own interpretation of what LOTR should be and its near universally rejected. The writing is insulting to the veiwer, constantly explaining what is goin, while it simultaneously visually shows us what it is explaining making this feel like a show aimed at 8 yr olds, that is written by 10 yr olds that have completed their first creative writing assignment. This would be typical run of the mill television normally, but when this shown is supposed to be tied to Tolkein and is advertised as such i expect a product that at minimum tries to convey the subject matter in better written way that doesnt insult the veiwer and assume they have the IQ of a door handle. This show is bad, disregard for the lore is bad, amazon deleting valid reviews that criticise the bad adaptation and modern political influence that underpins this catastrophy is bad. If this had nothing to do with LOTR i would be more generous, but that is not the case. This is garbage, the fans prop up an IP by supporting it, perhaps you should have made this show for them and thise who made the source material, the ones who support and open up their wallets, not who ever you were trying to gain.
