Angela Covell

I wasn’t impressed. So much so that I stopped watching after the first hour. I had high hopes of an excellent rendition of Napoleon with Joaquin Phoenix portraying him, and straight away was let down. With a complete lack of dialogue in each scene, and with the dialogue you almost had to interpret what he was saying and feeling. Each scene was nearly the same, with fighting and cannons going off, and then it was over, end scene and back to the palace. I have a feeling the whole movie went on the same way as well.
