This is Grisham's 'To Kill a Mockingbird'. Brilliantly structured and the descriptive narrative is constantly vivid. The war descriptions are lengthy and harrowing. The tension is maintained until the very end. This is not a typical Grisham legal thriller but anyone who has read his more recent novels knows that he goes outside the courtroom with ease. Highly enjoyable and recommended.
