Not too sentimental or fanciful, this film is a solid depiction of what like would have been like for all three sides - Allies, Germans and civilians - in the closing stages of the war. Attention to detail (in equipment) and the quality of CGI (Halifax glider tugs) are both excellent, and add greatly to the realism and believe-ability. And it's about time too that the Canadians got more recognition for what they did in this part of WW2.
