This was an incredibly beautiful and devastating portrayal of the reverberating trauma from colonization, power, and decimation of indigenous communities. I found the acting and the writing to be really well done. This is a crucial story to be told. I only hope that more people take interest to learn about and break the legacy of the Sixties Scoop (1950s-1980s) and the ongoing pain experienced by indigenous children taken from their homes/cultures/languages. Trigger warning--this show will make you weep. If you have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, or intergenerationl displacement, this might also activate you. Please take care as we move towards healing, reconciliation, and reparation.
