Dev Patel, clearly influenced by both Bollywood and Hong Kong, delivers here. His direction, especially in fight scene choreography, shines. His co-writing, less so but that is a small quibble and due in part to my Western perception of Indian mythology. He has as bright a future behind the camera and typewriter as he does in front. Well done all round to everyone. Highly recommend 👏🏻👍🏻

I have loved this movie since it came out. The cast and music are in top form and the storylines well-written and played. It’s worth it just to see and listen to the ‘orange juice’ sequence. Special mention to the late and always great Pete Postlethwaite.
