A very creative and artist movie with light humor. Written from the creative mindset of a child but still enjoyable for the parents. I am disappointed though that they used the curse words 'damn' and 'hell'. Not words I want my children repeating.

This movie was barely worthy of being a Lifetime film. I'm a faithful Christian who attends church weekly, but this movie was overly religious and more about alcoholism than it was about a police officer, or anything else. The writing is poor, acting sub-par, and the whole movie was extremely gloomy. The story didn't even develop the characters or character relationships enough before it ripped the main character's life apart. No positive aspect here. You need some happiness in a movie to appreciate the highs and lows. Writing was amaeture. I was very disappointed with this movie.

Loved this movie! It reminded me of the movie "Hoosiers". The Last Champion is a great small town story of community unity and supporting the underdog. I also love knowing that it was based on a true story which made it even more satisfying.
