I attended the Criss Angel MINDFREAK show in Las Vegas, and it was an unforgettable experience. Although I know magic isn't real, the excitement of watching incredible illusions and being left clueless about how they were done is simply unmatched. This show had me and everyone around me with our jaws on the floor, wondering what on earth we had just witnessed. There were no visible wires or any other obvious explanations for the tricks we saw. My favorite illusion was when Criss disappeared from the stage and reappeared within seconds in the middle of the crowd. It was mind-blowing and left everyone in awe. The cast included quite a few beautiful women, and I particularly remember a stunning performer from Cuba, though her name escapes me. She was truly gorgeous and added to the overall spectacle of the show. Criss Angel himself was a pleasant surprise. While I always thought his gimmick was being dark and mysterious, he turned out to be genuinely hilarious. His humor added a delightful dimension to the performance that I didn't expect. The show also featured a heartfelt tribute to Criss’s deceased father and highlighted his work to fight childhood and pediatric cancer, which added a touching and meaningful layer to the evening. The venue itself was very cool and easy to navigate. However, I would recommend taking an Uber unless you're staying at Planet Hollywood, as the parking situation is a bit of a disaster. The merch shop was very affordable, and I picked up a couple of gifts for my kids. The show is family-friendly, making it a great experience for all ages. The drinks from the bar were excellent, though pricey at a minimum of $20 per drink. I had the Levitation, made with Casamigos Tequila, and it was worth every penny. Overall, this was truly the best live show I've ever experienced. I've been to countless concerts, plays, and other theater events, but Criss Angel MINDFREAK stands out as the most thrilling and memorable. I honestly could see myself going again.
