You can hit a ball with "good" timing and it'll pop up to the nearest fielder. Every time. The rookie setting has the other team playing like their the all stars of the century, making diving plays and throwing you out like Derek Jeter from the 90s. This game is supposed to be fun but I find I throw my controller more because of how hard it is to just get a base hit.

This game is probably the most difficult, annoying and patience testing video game I've ever played. The settings are absolutely ridiculous as far as the game play goes. You have it on Rookie setting and you'll hit pop ups and ground out DAILY! The computer is a superstar and will rob home runs, rob base hits and ITS ON ROOKIE! The hitting interface is something out of the 90s and diomond dynasty will just give you a headache. Incredibly disappointed with this game.
