Watch the original and see where this film all falls down. Looks great, Skarsgard is very interesting and the best thing in the film but it watches like a young non-Brit wannabe script writer was asked to imagine the dialogue of the time and it shows. Way too long over developing already known premises, too much reverence and screaming for "his" arrival with no real reasons to fear given, over indulgent, incredible self importance and frankly cheesy, corny and a head scratching, unremarkable and illogical finale. And to decide the original look of Nosferatu could be bettered sums up the arrogance of the whole piece. Great beginning and boring, unengaging and unexciting afterwards.
