Tony Gilroy has taken Star Wars to new heights with this show. He has created new characters who you care for, in whom you can invest, you feel their triumph when they score the small victories and you feel the pain in their losses. All the while the menacing Imperial machine, smug in their overconfidence, doesn't know what the audience knows, the end is coming for them. A star studded cast all bring their A game, the locations are exotic and mundane, a real world feel, and there's no over reliance on cgi. Andor is the reason to believe in Star Wars again.
