The movie created a vision of what seems to be our most likely future given our reality today but has a historical feel to it; as if many centuries from now people existing in different circumstances were trying to reconstruct the story of their messiah. The euphoric feeling of the coming of a new age, the birth of a new philosophy from the decadence of the present is what gives this movie its soul. The movie shows us how the sadness and madness of reality drives the subjugation of all hopes in a person only for him to finally find liberation from conformity in his darkest moment. A city following his moves and finding inspiration in his madness and violence. That is the future that awaits us. And like what the kid on the bus journey with Phoenix would have felt..maybe the messiah would brighten things a little bit and we ourselves would be different. Top notch acting from Joaquin Phoenix. The joker was delusional , a trait from his mother possibly, only he was adopted so the possibilities shift to him not being adopted which implies his mother was not delusional so maybe his father was. That would be the man who believes he can clean the city. Well the movie is a masterpiece at that and that is reason enough to go and watch it once more.

While the universe is still just like projections of the past and the future earth all inhabitants still have to walk or ride or build cars the Mandalorian could not be any better than what it already is. A universal gem. It's just not enough anytime. Clint Eastwood might have been just something he created in us. It still lives on Clint.
