Saddest thing I’ve ever seen, right up there with the Yemen hospital documentary. The documentary only follows Palestinian children. There is little verbal context provided, but the rubblescape speaks volumes. Just when you think you’ve seen the full extent of how bad it gets for these kids it gets worse. They bombed a UN Girls School, while it was in session. The politics aren’t covered much — except the opening line that the situation is complicated — because they aren’t relevant — a war crime is a war crime is a war crime. The facts are that innocent civilians and children are sustaining permanent physical and psychological wounds, losing parents, siblings, and their own lives, because of some opinionated adults fighting over land. It doesn’t matter who started it, or who is wrong or who is owed what, things are going on that are not acceptable under any imaginable circumstances. And this was 10 years ago. A must watch. Especially if you’re in the USA where our tax dollars are funding it. My friends we all live in a sick world where sick people victimize innocent people, some innocent people will be hurt and some will become sick themselves. Be a wise person and never support or excuse war crimes like these.
