Great stage setup, they play songs that are familiar to just about everyone, and play them the best they have ever been played. And the really neat thing about this show is something most people probably don’t know. This was the first feature film ever shot in IMAX format. Movie producers were a little gun shy about making movies in IMAX format. Up until then IMAX was generally used at places like science museums, which is one of two places the film premiered, The California Museum of Science and Industry in Los Angeles. But with the popularity of this film they came to the realization that maybe it would be worth trying. And the rest is history.
