Overall, not a lot like the books. If watching keep in mind it is a different story than your childhood book. Characters are not the same. Scenes added and taken making it hard to watch sometimes. Acting ok at times and then other times not so much. Although, sceneries are good however. Really liked how it sort of brought book to life. Some parts were funny and could see the characters other times not so much. To fast paced and many details changed. In the end, it’s better to not have read books or to not compare sources. It is what it is.
