I would say the best part of the movie is Ursula. Granted Halle Bailey portrayed Ariel wonderfully she added extra notes during the songs that fans of the original mermaid would have noticed and thought it was just too much. I think Prince Eric should have been played by someone different. I just didnt feel the connection. The ending could have been on the boat in the ocean with king Triton lifting himself up to the boat like in the original or when they sing “under the sea”. In the original I believe it a a puffer fish says in a deep deep voice “guess who’s gon be on the plate but in this version Sebastian just sings it . Overall good movie just don’t like key parts they changed.
