If your a fan of the books, you won't be a fan of the series. Perin starts off married and has a tragedy, he is black, very much not how he is described in the book, moirain has age, there is no timelessness to her looks, egewene and nynaeve have a "Indian" appearance and Matt is completely different as well. I get that rand looked different, but the rest all came from the same village but look like different races. They add things that never happened, not just combining things for brevity, they added it because they thought it should be different. They missed the essence of the characters. Lan is cool though.
