I have never seen any other version of Cats. I brought my young daughter to it for the dancing and music. The movie has a very stage theater feel. Though the movie was a bit slow for my daughter. I enjoyed it. When Jennifer Hudson sings memories the second time, I was moved to tears. It's disappointing to see how harsh and unfairly critical the critics are of this movie. It's a quirky piece of art...always has been...but it's quirky in a moving way...songs were good...choreography good.

Binge watched all 4 seasons in the last week. Excellent acting and character development and lots of plot twists and turns.
