This movie is a horror experience you'll never come across again. Halloween (1978) is a classic of its genre with John Carpenter's score and the blank expression of the custom-designed William Shatner mask that's also what makes The Shape scary .What I found that was a unique detail in this movie is that there's little to no blood displayed throughout the film letting Myers bring the real scares, I also want to bring out the excellence of Nick Castle's acting as Michael he is great at displaying an emotionless shape whilst being a perfect head sculpt for the mask to slide on whereas in Halloween II (1981) actor Dick Warlock has a wider head showing with the stretched out displayal of the mask leading to an inconsistency but however his does not heavily effect the film since I'm only reviewing the first one just pointing out that keeping Nick Castle would've been a better choice. The last thing I want to say about this movie is that the success it made was revolutionary regarding its extremely small budget. But overall, well done John Carpenter. 9/10
