Spoiler Alerts: Don't read if you have not watched the series yet! People! Why aren't we talking about the book she is reading and how it can parallel her situation???? Loved the miniseries. It clearly has sooooo much more to explain. I don't think anything was face value not even the first ending. Gasp! I said it. Think about it. The first few lines gives you everything you need to know about the series. "Girl who likes to complain about the cold but doesn't wear a jacket." Her drinking and pills leads to hallucinations. Nothing is ever what it seems... Even her husband says she has an active imagination. Then it's revealed she is reading a book about a women who observes a murder from across the lakehouse called The Girl in the Lakehouse- catch the parallel? Now fast forward to the 2nd ending... She is not mixing wine with pills but vodka with pills. She is on a plane reading a book with the same sleeve as the first book and it's new title is The girl on the cruise ship. Does it sound like another future parallel? I am betting she is a psych patient and each season is a layer to her personality. She herself said casseroles had many layers just like people. I can't wait for this to get renewed to see if I can right!!!
