I love raising my temtem and battling with them. The interactions with NPCs are very funny. The world looks big and immersive and the graphics and sound are appealing. However I hate the unskippable platforming puzzles in the dojos that are necessary to advance the game. If it weren't for the platform aspects I would have given this a full 5 stars.

I'm sorry to rank this so low as I enjoyed another book by the author. Spoilers...
But I was very frustrated by the ending where the mute love interest suddenly becomes able to talk and only then does he get to kiss the main character.
I think it accidentally sends a message that you cannot find love if you have a disability unless you somehow stop being disabled. So for that I knocked a whole star off my rating. It may not bother all readers but it upset me.
